What is Perspectives?

Instructors:

Each week’s lesson is taught by a different instructor who has expertise relevant to that particular lesson.

Rev. Dr. Melva Henderson

Lesson 1: The Living God is a Missionary God

Ervin and Melva Henderson are the founding pastors of World Outreach Center located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With a vision to impact lives worldwide and a mission to train servant leaders, they travel nationally and internationally as ministers of the Gospel and humanitarians.

Rev. Dr. Len Bartlotti

Lesson 2: The Story of His Glory

Leonard N. (Len) Bartlotti (PhD, University of Wales, Lampeter/Oxford Centre for Mission Studies, UK) is a mission strategist and educator with forty years’ experience in cross-cultural ministry. He and his wife, Debi, served fourteen years in Central Asia among one of the largest Muslim people groups, where they engaged in cultural research, publishing, refugee relief, discipleship, and the innovative use of verbal art—local proverbs, poetry, and music—to contextualize the good news. 

Rev. Ben Tzeng

Lesson 3: Your Kingdom Come

Ben Tzeng was first ordained in the Christian Missionary Alliance and has served in different pastoral roles to empower the church to be mission-minded.  Currently the Pastor Evangelism and Community at Central Presbyterian Church, he is also a member of the Revelation 7:9 national task force for the Evangelical Presbyterian Church denomination.

Rev. Matt Clark

Lesson 4: Mandate for the Nations

Matt Clark is the founder and president of All Nations St. Louis – a ministry focused on creating opportunities for followers of Jesus to develop personal relationships with refugees and immigrants of all ages, promoting the love and message of Christ. 

Greg DuHart

Lesson 5: The Gospel Unleashed

Greg DuHart is a Business Opportunity Specialist for the U.S. Small Business Administration, where he is focused on Strategic Business Development. Greg and his wife, Kim, have been involved with Perspectives on the World Christian Movement since 2015, and Greg now serves as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director for Perspectives USA.

Rev. Norm Howell

Lesson 6: The Expansion of the Christian Movement

Norm Howell is formerly a missionary with New Tribes Missions – now Ethnos 360 – and currently serves as an Associate Pastor at The Ridge Church in Villa Ridge, MO.

Dr. Jon Hardin

Lesson 7: Eras of Mission History

Jon serves with Frontiers, an international mission focused on inspiring “transformational movements to Christ within least-reached Muslim people groups” around the world. Jon speaks and teaches about how to effectively reach Muslims at local churches, conferences, and training events throughout the world.

Peggy Spiers

Lession 8: Pioneers of the World Christian Movement

Peggy Spiers is a member of the global support team for All Nations International. She works to develop and sustain healthy partnerships between goers, senders, home churches and agencies. Peggy helped to develop a training called Sender’s U that helps to equip local churches to send and care for workers on the field well.

Krystle Roberts serves as a missions mobilizer at The Well church in Austin, Texas in partnership with Launch Global.

Dr. Stan Yoder

Lesson 10: How Shall They Hear?

Stan Yoder has served with World Partners for 46 years focusing on Muslims in Africa, the Middle East and Kansas City, Missouri.

Lesson 11: Building Bridges of Love

Mark and Joani are the founders of Oasis International, a St. Louis based ministry which serves immigrants throughout the area by serving practical needs and providing training and education.

Herman Armstrong is the Director of Restore St. Louis – a broad and diverse ministry out of New City Fellowship St. Louis. 

Rev. John Vernon

Lesson 13: The Spontaneous  Multiplication of Churches

John Vernon serves as the Director of Missions at Cape Baptist Association in Cape Girardeau, establishing the Church Planting Center of Southeast Missouri in 2014 and serving as a church planter trainer with SEND Network since 2021.

James and Faith Cha

Lesson 14: Pioneer Church Planting

James Cha is on staff with Crescent Project, a ministry that equips the local churches to reach out to the Muslims in the community. James and Faith are also founders of i43, a ministry committed to fulfilling the Great Commission to the ends of the earth.

Lindsey Rice

Lesson 15: World Christian Discipleship

Lindssey Rice serves with Perspectives USA as the Executive Mobilization Director over the Central Section of the United States. She also serves as Regional Director over the Western Great Lakes, Heartland, and Central Regions.
