About Us
At Wycliffe Bible Translators, we long for people to know God through the Bible and be transformed into followers of Jesus (1 Tim. 2:3-6). We approach our part of God’s mission with passion, knowing that people are lost without the hope of the gospel. We engage our work by loving God with our whole persons and loving people the way Christ first loved us (Mark 12:30-31), engaging all parts of the Body of Christ to participate in God’s global mission (Rom. 12:4-5), reaching people in ways they can clearly understand (1 Cor. 14:9), depending on God for all aspects of Bible translation (Pr. 3:5-6), collaborating alongside our ministry partners with humility and interdependence (Phil. 2:2-3), and investing in local translation teams and churches (Matt. 28:18-20).
